Fastrack launched the Reflex fitness tracker last year, and now it has introduced its predecessor. The Reflex 2.0 has been launched as a part of the ongoing Amazon Prime Day sale. It is priced at Rs 1,995, and is available in color options of Electric Blue, Neon Green, and Charcoal Black.
The Fastrack Reflex 2.0 is first and foremost a fitness tracker. It can be used to track your number of steps, distance covered, and calories consumed. It can also track your sleep patterns, and will send an alert if you’ve been inactive for long.
You can check all your fitness-related data on the Reflex 2.0’s OLED display. Apart from that, you will also get alerts for incoming calls, text messages, and emails. There are built-in features to locating your smartphone in case you’ve misplaced it, and for controlling the smartphone’s camera remotely.
Fastrack claims that the wearable’s battery is good enough for up to 10 days. This is better than the week-long battery life of the Reflex. As is the norm with fitness trackers, the Reflex 2.0 is also IPX6 certified making it resistant to water and dust.
Watch: Fastrack Reflex Review
The wearable comes with Bluetooth 4.0 LE for connecting to smartphones. It is compatible with both Android and iOS devices. Fastrack also says the wearable gets a secure PIN-based pairing system that offers better protection.
With a price tag of Rs 1,995, the Fastrack Reflex 2.0 faces strong competition from Xiaomi’s Mi Band 2. The Mi Band 2, priced at Rs 1,599, offers similar features as well as a heart-rate monitor. There is also a slightly cheaper Mi Band 2 HRX edition available on Amazon India that comes sans the heart-rate monitor. A slightly more expensive option will be the Honor Band 3, which is also available online.
