Droid Life elaborated their take on the whole virtual cat catching fiasco. So the usual process of discovering the Easter egg is by going to Settings > About device and then you press on the Android version and hence, long press on the Android N logo. This time, what you have to do is tap on the logo N an few times before you long-press it and a cat emoji will appear below. You have to long press on the cat emoji after which a No Entry sign or No sign appears.
Once this pops up, you have to pull down your quick settings menu and then tap on the Edit button. You will then notice that there s a new quick setting toggle called ???? Android Easter Egg , which you will have to drag into your quick settings panel.
Once you exit out of the Edit screen, the quick settings tile turns into an empty dish. You will have to tap on it and four options of cat treats will be presented: Bits, Fish, Chicken and Treat. And if you select any of the treats, it will replace the empty dish. This, Droid Life, says will lure in a virtual cat but only if you put the right food item in the shade at the right time. And once a cat is caught, you will receive a notification saying that you ve successfully caught one with an Easter egg UI listing all the cats that you ve caught. This surely looks like a complicated game and people are still knocking their heads over trying to catch a cat.
