Although the company didn’t give a exact timeframe of the roll out for updates, OnePlus has now revealed that users will receive the Android O update for the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T by end of this year. The OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T smartphones were both launched in 2016. As far as OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T users go, they will have to wait for Google to launch the final version of Android O, which is expected to be sometime during late summer. Currently, Android O is available only as Developer Preview release and is compatible only with Google-branded smartphones. OnePlus will not be rolling out the same update for OnePlus 2 users. The OnePlus 5 just yesterday received its first major update after launching worldwide. The update, OxygenOS v4.5.2, comes with several bug fixes and focuses on optimization of the smartphone. The update fixes issues related to app installation and system update. It also improves the camera performance whereas there has been improvements to Bluetooth, Network and System.
