As India chases a huge total of 329 runs, all eyes were on the batsmen to perform. Early wickets of Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan didn’t help, and Indians prayed for Virat Kohli to take his best onto the pitch. But after facing 13 balls, and scoring only one run, Kohli was caught by B Haddin, and was forced to walk back to the dressing room. As the entire stadium watched in silence, Twitter took things to another course, and blamed it on that one person sitting in the stands watching the match. As it turns out, Virat Kohli’s alleged partner Anushka Sharma was at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG), and as soon as his wicket fell, Twiterverse was abuzz with the blame-game, with one user even calling her ‘national panuati’ (which means bad omen).
