AOC, best known for its range of televisions and desktop monitors, has entered the tablet market with its Breeze range. The range consists of two Android tablets with the 7-inch Breeze tablet available for Rs 7,990 and the 9.7-inch Breeze tablet available for Rs 12,990. In terms of specifications, the 7-inch Breeze tablet (MG70DR-8) sports a TFT capacitive LCD (1024×600 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.5GHz Dual Core ARM Cortex-A9 processor, Mali 400 GPU and 1GB of RAM. Other features included on the tablet are a 2-megapixel rear camera, a VGA camera on the front, 8GB of internal storage which is expandable using a microSD card, connectivity options like Wi-Fi, mini-HDMI, micro-USB ports and a 3,000mAH battery. The 9.7-inch Breeze tablet (MG97DR-16), on the other hand, features a bigger TFT capacitive LCD (1024×768 pixels) display and much of the same specifications but with slight differences to the storage, battery. Unlike the 7-inch Breeze, the 9.7-inch Breeze tablet comes with 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded using a microSD card and features a massive 7,000mAH battery.
On the software side of things, both the tablets come with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and both the tablets should be hitting stores across the country by the end of this month.
