Buzz Aldrin, the second human to step on the moon, after Neil Armstrong, revealed during his mission that saw UFOs. After almost 50 years later, the sound bytes of Aldrin and others from the Apollo 11 space mission were put through a lie detector test and guess what, humans are not alone out there. On July 21, 1969, humans put their first step on the moon, revealing a lot of mysteries about the Earth’s natural satellite. However, it also brought with it a trove of questions over the authenticity of the mission and the million dollar question on the existence of UFOs. The Institute of BioAcoustic Biology in Albany, Ohio, analyzed the sound bytes of four astronauts from the Apollo 11 mission and has come to conclude that a particular statement by Aldrin about seeing UFOs was not a lie. Aldrin had said having encountered a strange flying object on their way to the moon, IBT reports.

“There was something out there that was close enough to be observed, sort of L-shaped,” he had said. As the report says, the technology used to analyze the sound bytes is claimed to be far more advanced than general lie detectors, and thus, is unlikely to be flawed.

Researcher from BioAcoustic, Sharry Edwards said that their tests found that Aldrin is sure he saw the L-shaped UFO even though his logical mind “cannot explain it”. Aldrin’s voice patterns reveal that he was certain about seeing a UFO.

It is worth mentioning that Aldrin had made the statements soon after landing on the Earth after Apollo 11. However, in 2014, during a Reddit AMA, he explained that what he saw was not aliens. Aldrin had come up with a logical conclusion of what he remembered seeing. The analysis, on the other hand, is that of the tapes post the mission.

In the AMA session, Aldrin explained that on the route to the moon, he observed a light out the window that appeared to be moving alongside their spacecraft. Back then, he did not have any explanation for it, he assumed it to be another spacecraft from another country, or another world. However, he did admit, “I feel absolutely convinced that we were looking at the sun reflected off of one of these panels. Which one? I don’t know. So technically, the definition could be “unidentified.”

His response went on to read, “We well understood exactly what that was. And when we returned, we debriefed and explained exactly what we had observed. And I felt that this had been distributed to the outside world, the outside audience, and apparently it wasn’t, and so many years later, I had the time in an interview to disclose these observations, on another country’s television network. And the UFO people in the United States were very very angry with me, that I had not given them the information. It was not an alien. Extraordinary observations require extraordinary evidence. That’s what Carl Sagan said. There may be aliens in our Milky Way galaxy, and there are billions of other galaxies. The probability is almost CERTAIN that there is life somewhere in space. It was not that remarkable, that special, that unusual, that life here on earth evolved gradually, slowly, to where we are today. But the distances involved in where some evidence of life may be, they may be hundreds of light years away.”

Interestingly, last year, Apollo 15 astronaut Al Worden revealed in an interview that he saw aliens during his mission. Tapes of the now-deceased NASA astronauts Gordon Cooper and Edgar Mitchell were also analyzed for this study. Cooper and Mitchell, according to the results of the study, were also telling the truth.
