Apple s much-awaited iOS 7 was finally unveiled at WWDC 2013 earlier this week, and was received with mixed reactions from all quarters. Many who weren t happy with icons or the color scheme are in for a surprise; the folks at 9To5Mac have spotted a set of icons on Apple s mobile website that are different to one seen on the iOS 7 beta available for developers. The icons in question are the weather app, which show the current temperature instead of the clouds and the sun, the Passbook loses its orange card in favor of a green colored card, the Mail icon is a bit more rounded and the Photos icon too seems to have been slightly tweaked with an updated color palette. Overall most of these icons sport a more subtle color scheme instead of the fluorescent colors seen on the iOS 7 beta.
The icons have since been removed from Apple s mobile site and replaced with the more familiar icons. It is difficult to say if these icons will show up on the final version of the OS, but we will keep our fingers crossed.
