While Apple is long believed to have been working on a larger screened iPad, there aren’t too many details known about the tablet. Japanese Apple fan magazine Mac Fan however has now published the schematics of Apple’s so-called “iPad Air Plus,” and has also revealed a few important details including the possible launch date, Apple Insider reports. According to the magazine, the iPad Air Plus will flaunt a 12.2-inch display, and will boast dimensions of 305.31×220.8x7mm. In comparison, the recently released iPad Air 2 measures in at 240×169.5×6.1mm, so it looks like the new tablet will be both larger and slightly thicker than the iPad Air 2. Additionally, it also says that the bigger iPad will be powered by the next-generation A9 processor, and will feature four built-in speakers on the edges in order to play stereo sound. As for availability, the magazine claims that Apple is likely to launch the bigger tablet sometime between April and June 2015. In addition the iPad Air Plus, Mac Fan has also revealed some details about the iPad mini 4. It claims that the mini tablet due next year will be powered by an A8X processor, and will sport a sleeker design similar to the recently launched iPad Air 2.
