The studio has gone from strength to strength in recent years, with “Beat Sneak Bandit” well received, and “Year Walk” then subject to rave reviews.
“Device 6” merges visual storytelling with interactive adventures, and was in contention for Best Mobile Game and the Innovation Award at this year’s Game Developers Choice ceremony on March 19, winning Excellence in Audio at the Independent Games Festival on the same night.
Visitors to iTunes’ inaugural Indie Games Showcase section will find Simogo recommending a dozen other titles, from “Space Invaders Infinity Gene” and “Groove Coaster” to “Helsing’s Fire” and “Bad Hotel.”
As noted by Mac Stories, “Device 6” also features on the App Store’s current list of 10 Incredible Indie Games, alongside titles such as “Badland,” “The Room Two,” “Threes” and “Tengami.”
