Apple s India webpage showing where users can buy an iPhone points to Reliance s eShop where the carrier essentially lists the zero plan offers. This webpage was first spotted by NDTVGadgets. The new iPhones are yet to be listed, and reveals no new information. But the fact that Apple has linked to Reliance s webpage could be a hint that the offer will soon be announced. RCom announced the Zero plan offers for the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C, wherein you could buy these phones without any down payment on a two-year Rs 2,599 and Rs 2,999 monthly plans. Later in the year, RCom increased the price of the monthly plans to Rs 2,999 for the iPhone 5C, and Rs 3,599 for the iPhone 5S. It also introduced a similar plan for the iPhone 4S for Rs 2,099 per month.
As per the images leaked in October, you will be able to pick up the iPhone 6 on a two-year contract with an Rs 3,099 monthly plan. The bigger iPhone 6 Plus, on the other hand, will be available on a two-year contract with an Rs 3,599 monthly plan.
Just like the Zero plan it introduced last year, these plans will be offering unlimited minutes of voice calls (local and roaming), and unlimited data. The Buy button doesn t work at the time of filing the story, and there is no word on the kind of down payment one will have to pay for the 64GB and 128GB variants.
Apple launched the new iPhones in India at prices starting from Rs 53,500 for the 16GB iPhone 6 variant, which is the same price tag at which the iPhone 5S was launched last year. The 64GB variant is priced at 62,500, and the 128GB variant is priced at Rs 71,500. The prices for the bigger iPhone 6 Plus start at Rs 62,500 for the 16GB variant. The 64GB variant is priced at Rs 71,500, while the 128GB variant is priced at 80,500.
