The most prominent change has been made to Screen Time, which has been upgraded to showcase more information. Now you can know how much time you spend on one app across iOS devices, which is great. You can also get more information on individual apps, including its category, developer info, and your daily average usage. It is possible to set a limit on your daily usage as well.
Other notable changes come to the battery stats. Apple has redesigned the charts showing the battery activity for the last 24 hours. The design looks more traditional now with thinner bars. Some of the wordings have also been changed.
A Siri suggestions toggle has also been added in the Notifications section, in the Settings app. There are individual toggles for each application here. It is mostly to build on a new Siri feature which helps in reducing notification alerts from applications that aren t used often on the device.
There s also a new interface designed for auto fill passwords from iCloud Keychain. Besides these, design changes have also been made to a few other apps. One of the most notable ones is in the Voice Memo app, which now showcases a new splash screen at the start. The functionality, however, remains the same.
Lastly, if you re using iPhone apps on the iPad, you ll also see a screen featuring an aspect ratio more relatable to conventional devices. Both the 1X and 2X screens have been tweaked to match this. There are minor tweaks made to UI elements too. It should be noted that the iOS 12 beta 2 also comes with a few minor bugs.
