Now that the new iPhones are out in the open, Apple s focusing all its efforts on the iPads. The Cupertino-based technology major is expected to unveil an upgraded version of its 12.9-inch iPad Pro this month. Even though not much is known about the upcoming tablet, the device has seen its fair share of rumors and speculations over the past few weeks. If the newest leak is to be believed, the new iPad Pro will follow in the footsteps of this year s iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max. The folks at MySmartPrice have managed to snag an alleged render of Apple iPad Pro (2018), covered in a UAG (Urban Armor Gear, a company that manufactures rugged cases for smartphones and tablets) armor case. The render shows the new iPad Pro having very slim bezels, and no Touch ID fingerprint sensor. This essentially means that Apple s upcoming tablet will use Face ID, with the facial scanning hardware included in the top bezel. Interestingly, unlike the new iPhones, there is no notch visible in the render, which is a very good thing. Along with the 12.9-inch version, the company is also expected to launch a smaller version of iPad Pro with a 10.5-inch display, and that could have a similar design as well.

Recently, a random Twitter user claimed that Apple s upcoming iPad Pro (2018) could be its thinnest yet, with a thickness of just 5.9mm. It was further mentioned that the new tablet won t have a 3.5mm audio port, but that s not exactly a surprise. It s Apple we re talking about, after all!
