The new iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone Xs Max are now official, and they come with edge-to-edge displays, a notch on top, and more. The new iPhones are made from stainless steel frame and feature glass back, which also enables wireless charging. Apple has revealed that the new iPhone XS models are coming to India later this month, and pricing has also been revealed. The iPhone XR, however, will come next month.
Apple iPhone XR, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max: Storage, color variants and pricing
The iPhone XS will be offered in three storage variants – 64GB, 256GB and 512GB. The slightly larger and more premium iPhone XS Max will also be offered in 64GB, 256GB and 512GB storage variants. Talking about color options, you will be able to choose between Silver, Space Gray and Gold color options.
The iPhone XS base variant with 64GB storage will be priced at Rs 99,900, whereas the iPhone XS Max will be available at Rs 109,900 for the base variant. Apple has not revealed the pricing of other variants. They will go on sale in India starting September 28.
The iPhone XR, on the other hand, will be offered in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB storage variants, with the base model starting at Rs 76,900. Pre-orders begin on October 19, and shipping starts from October 26 onwards. You will be able to pick from six colors – Black, White, Red, Yellow, Blue and Coral.

Apple iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max specifications and features
The iPhone XS flaunts a 5.8-inch and the iPhone XS Max flaunts a slightly larger 6.5-inch screen, both featuring OLED panels, with Apple calling it Super Retina display. They also support HDR10 format for and 3D Touch.
Under the hood is the new A12 Bionic chipset that is built on 7nm fabrication process. It features a hexa-core CPU, with two performance cores and four efficiency cores, and a quad-core GPU for graphics. There is also an eight-core dedicated Neural Engine for on-device machine learning.
In the photography department, both the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max get dual rear camera setup, both 12-megapixel sensors – with one being wide-angle lens with f/1.8 aperture and the other being telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture. Up front, is a 7-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calling with f/2.2 aperture.
With support for Face ID feature, the new iPhones are also IP68 certified for water and dust resistance. But as usual, Apple has not revealed the battery size on the new iPhones, but it is promising better battery life compared to the iPhone X. On the software front, all three iPhones will run on iOS 12 OS out-of-the-box.
