The video shows the alleged 4-inch iPhone from all angles, which appears to be a smaller version of the iPhone 6s. The camera placements, antenna bands, design and ports placement all looks similar to the iPhone 6s. If the video is legit, it kills the past rumors that pointed to the 4-inch iPhone copying the design of iPhone 5c. Together with metal build, it also appears to come with Touch ID fingerprint scanner. Also Read - iOS 4 is now available again on modern iPhones, complete with Home button: How to get it
On the hardware front, it is likely to feature Apple s A8 chip paired with 1GB of RAM. With prices starting from $500 (approximately Rs 32,500), NFC support for Apple Pay, VoLTE connectivity and 8-megapixel rear camera are also expected to be in tow.
Targeted at the emerging markets, the iPhone 5e is likely to come in 16GB and 64GB variants. An earlier rumor also pointed that the iPhone 5e is already being manufactured by Foxconn and is likely to launch in March and go on sale sometime in April.
