The source also claimed that the first release dates are expected to be sometime around October end and November first week. This mockup case was created to make cases for the upcoming smartphone.
This latest leak debunks previous reports that claimed that the iPhone 6c would be launched alongside the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus in September. Past leaks also reveal that the iPhone 6c is expected to be Apple s first device to be powered by 14/16nm FinFET chips that will be manufactured by TSMC and Samsung. Unlike the existing 20nm chipsets, these new chipsets are expected to offer relatively better performance along with lower power consumption.
In any case, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s are widely expected to launch on September 9, and whether the iPhone 6c will be unveiled on that day or later remains to be seen.
