If rumors are to be believed, the iPhone 6c will be the successor to the iPhone 5c that came out in 2013. Some speculations also suggest that the iPhone 6c will do away with polycarbonate body and will sport a premium metal chassis instead. It is also expected to come with 1,715mAh battery.
While the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus with larger displays were immensely popular, some iPhone users were still expecting smaller, pocket-friendly iPhone that can easily be operated single handedly.
If the reports from publication are to be believed, the iPhone 6c is expected to be Apple s first device to be powered by 14/16nm FinFET chips that will be manufactured by TSMC and Samsung. Unlike the existing 20nm chipsets, these new chipsets are expected to offer relatively better performance along with lower power consumption.
