With Apple’s much anticipated September 9 event draws closer, a lot of leaks have started pouring on the web. Just a few hours ago, the famous leaker @evleaks had Tweeted that the iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus and iPhone 6c are expected to launch concurrently. However, the developer logs show no signs of iPhone 6c.
As per the latest report from Fiksu, the web traffic log for the month of July shows two new iPhones, iPhone 8,1 and iPhone 8,2. For those who are unaware, when the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus were in testing phase, both these devices carried iPhone 7,2 and iPhone 7,1 identifier in the developer logs, respectively. Also, the identifier for the iPhone 5c was represented as iPhone 5.3. As for the iPhone 6c, we will have to wait till September 9 to see what Apple has in store.
So far, all we know about iPhone 6s is that it is expected to come with the new display technology, faster A9 processor, stronger metal casing, an upgraded 12-megapixel camera and 2GB of RAM. It’s also set to include the new Force Touch feature. In terms of the working of Force Touch, deep pressing on the song in the Music app will bring options such as saving it for offline listening or to add it to a playlist. In the maps app, deep pressing on the destination will start the turn-by-turn navigation. There are many other apps that could take advantage of this feature.
With less than a month to go for the September 9, we have our eyes hooked on all the leaks and will keep our readers updated as more details pour in.
