Apple has officially reduced the prices of its two previous year iPhone series models – the iPhone 7 series and the iPhone 8 series. Apple’s official website in United States has listed the new prices of iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.
In United States, the older iPhone 7 series now starts at just $449, which previously used to retail at a price of $649. The iPhone 7 is now priced at $449, and the iPhone 7 Plus starts at $549. The iPhone 8, and iPhone 8 Plus will now be available at $599, and $699, respectively.
For India, the iPhone 7 32GB model price has been reduced by Rs 12,470. It now comes with Rs 39,900 MRP instead of Rs 52,240. The 128GB model of Phone 7 is now at Rs 49900, which was Rs 61560 earlier. To remind you, Apple had recently increased the price (up to 3.6 percent) of these phones in February because of increase in import duty.
The iPhone 8 64GB model is now priced at Rs 59,900 and the 256GB storage model at Rs 74,900. The iPhone 8 Plus 64GB storage model is now priced at Rs 69,900, where as the 256GB model price is slashed to Rs 84,900. Although there are two iPhone models that have been removed from Apple India website hinting that these will no longer be available from Apple, but company’s website is still showing reduced MRP for these iPhone 6s and iPhone X.
The iPhone 6s 32GB will now retail for Rs 29,900 MRP. The iPhone 6s Plus will be available at Rs 34,900, which is just Rs 5,000 extra from iPhone 6s 32GB model. The iPhone 6s and 6s Plus 128GB variants will come for Rs 39,900 and Rs 44,900 respectively.

As for the iPhone X, the 64GB model only gets 3,490 price cut and will now retail for Rs 91,900 instead of Rs 95,390. The iPhone X 256GB is reduced to Rs 1,06,900 from earlier increased price after import duty hike at Rs 1,08,930.
