With Apple set to host its iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus launch event next week, leaks are coming in thick and fast. Now case-maker Spigen has all but confirmed that the new iPhones will indeed be offered in a new Rose Gold color. Spigen s teaser shows different kinds of cases, all made specifically for the Rose Gold iPhone 6s, and iPhone 6s Plus. The teaser also has a tagline, A New Color Has Bloomed for iPhone 6s/6s Plus . Rose Gold color option was first added by Apple on Apple Watch Edition variant. Unlike the smartwatch though, Apple will just be borrowing the color palette and not be using real gold on the iPhones. Apart from the Rose Gold variant, Spigen has also listed a whole bunch of cases on Amazon. One variant evidently missing is the oft rumored 4-inch iPhone 6c. Recent reports have all but confirmed that the iPhone 6c may not arrive on September 9.
From what we ve learned so far, the iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus are expected to come equipped with a faster A9 chipset along with2GB of RAM. On the camera front, both the iPhones are expected to sport a 12-megapixel camera with 4K video shooting capabilities and a 5-megapixel front facing FaceTime camera with 1080p video recording support.
The smartphones are also expected to come with Force Touch technology to distinguish between a long press and a light tap. Apple is also said to have dropped the 16GB variant, but there have been no credible source on this development yet.
