Apple s WWDC 2015 event is happening tonight and we know for certain that there aren’t going to be any hardware announcements from the company. Just like the tradition goes, Apple will unveil iOS 9 and OS X 10.11 alongside Beats Music and other software announcements. But just to satiate everyone’s imagination, Apple fan Jermaine Smith has created an iPhone 7 concept video that shows off an upgraded fingerprint sensor, centre aligned back camera, and a more slimmer design language. The video says that the next iPhone, touted to be the iPhone 6s (called the iPhone 7 by the YouTuber) will come with a improved Home button that will feature gesture support for navigation along with the Touch ID fingerprint sensor. This gesture control feature falls in line with a recent Apple patent filing as well. Also Read - Flipkart Mobiles Bonanza sale top deals: iPhone SE, Poco X3 Pro and more on discount
In the video, the back camera is aligned in the center and not in the top left corner seen on the current generation. Like previous rumors, Smith also shows off an upgraded 12-megapixel camera at the back with dual-LED flash. Additionally, the front-facing camera in the concept note has a 4-megapixel shooter and a 120-degree viewing angle for more room in selfies.
Additionally, Smith also suggests the impending addition of wireless charging. He also reiterates that the smartphone will be powered by an A9X quad-core processor paired with 2GB RAM.
Apple might also reportedly scrap the 16GB variant altogether and the base variant would have 32GB of internal storage. The new iPhones will also see the integration of Force Touch technology that was first seen on Apple Watch and the new Macbooks. Additionally, it could boast a new design language with different metal casing to ensure that the new iPhones do not bend.
