Apple’s iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are officially here. Those who pre-ordered, are now getting their hands on the new iPhones. Breaking the traditions of sorts, the iPhones weren’t available at midnight, but have gone on sale at 7:00PM. Coincidence? The smartphones are available across various online and offline channels like Flipkart, Amazon India, Paytm, Snapdeal, Infibeam, Tata CLiQ, Reliance Digital, Croma, and other authorized Apple resellers. Apple iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus India prices: Both the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are available in three storage variants each — 32GB, 128GB and 256GB. Prices for the iPhone 7 start from Rs 60,000 for the 32GB variant, and go up to Rs 70,000 and Rs 80,000 for the 128GB and 256GB variants respectively. The iPhone 7 Plus, on the other hand, is available for Rs 72,000 (32GB), Rs 82,000 (128GB), and Rs 92,000 (256GB). Apple will also be launching a bunch of accessories, with prices starting from Rs 900 and going up to Rs 15,400 for a pair of AirPods. Most Apple resellers tonight are focused on first handing over the new devices to those who had pre-ordered the iPhones. But if you aren’t one of them, you still have a chance to buy the new iPhones that are available along with a bunch of deals. The likes of Flipkart and Snapdeal are offering exchange bonus up to Rs 24,500 and Rs 16,000 respectively.
If you don’t have an old phone to exchange, you can either opt for EMI or cashback offers. Most e-commerce sites are offering EMI offers when you pay using a debit or credit card. The likes of Paytm, and Snapdeal are offering cashback on your card when buying a new iPhone. Snapdeal has partnered with American Express to offer flat discount of Rs 10,000 when you check out and make payment using American Express credit cards. Airtel, is offering iPhone 7 buyers with additional 10GB of data per month for 12 months. This means, users get 120GB extra data over the year. However, the plan is only applicable for myplan Infinity users, which starts from Rs 9,49 and goes all the way up to Rs 2,999.

The iPhone 7 features a 4.7-inch HD display whereas the iPhone 7 Plus features a 5.5-inch full HD display. Apple claims that the new display is 25 percent brighter with wider color gamut. Under the hood is a faster A10 Fusion 64-bit quad-core chipset, which Apple claims is two times faster than the A8 chipset on the iPhone 6.
Both iPhones come with better 12-megapixel cameras. While the iPhone 7 gains optical image stabilization, the highlight of iPhone 7 Plus is the dual-camera setup. It can shoot great photos in low light, and is also a capable portrait shooter with DSLR-like bokeh effect. For selfie lovers there’s 7-megapixel front-facing snapper. While Apple didn t reveal the battery capacity of either of the new iPhones, teardowns have revealed that the iPhone 7 comes with a 1,960mAh unit, while the iPhone 7 Plus comes with a 2,900mAh unit. The new smartphones run on iOS 10 out-of-the-box.
