Turn to the back and we can see the dual camera lens module along with LED flash on the top left, the Smart Connector pins at the bottom and redesigned antenna lines too. Also, the bottom panel shows off the lightning port flanked by speaker grill. The leaked photos once again confirm the lack of traditional 3.5mm audio port.
Now, here s where the mystery begins. We first heard that Apple will release three smartphones this year the iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus with dual camera setup at the back and the iPhone 7 Plus with dual camera setup and Smart Connector pins to connect external accessories such as smart keyboard. Now, according to latest reports, the pro model may not show up this year. However, with the latest photos showing off dual camera setup and Smart Connector pins, it remains to be seen if Apple will release all three smartphones or will it introduce the Smart Connector pins on the plus variant.
From rumors that we have come across, the new iPhones are likely to be powered by Apple s A10 Chip, 2GB of RAM (3GB on Plus variant) and base storage could start at 32GB. A recent report also hinted that the new smartphones could get the resolution upgrade that they deserve. The iPhone 7 could come with 4.7-inch full HD (1080p) display and the iPhone 7 Plus could come with 5.5-inch QHD HD (1440x2560pixels) display. Both smartphones are also expected to come with improved water resistance capabilities. We expect to come details to pour in as the launch draws closer.
Apple could host the launch event on September 7 and the sales are expected to kick-off starting September 16.
