Apple iPhone 7S Plus dummy model reveals glass back, possible wireless charging

The glass back is meant to help make its new wireless inductive charging possible.

As we inch closer to September, there’s no dearth of Apple iPhone 8-related leaks. However, there are two more models iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus expected to launch along with the flagship device. Today, an Apple tipster has leaked an image that allegedly shows a dummy model of the Apple iPhone 7s Plus. Also Read - Karaoke party at home with Apple Music: How to use Apple Music Sing feature

First spotted by 9To5Mac, the dummy model shows the rear panel of the iPhone 7s Plus. The most striking feature is clearly the shiny glass body, which is likely to replace the aluminum back. The glass body also adds weight to previous rumors about all three iPhone models coming with wireless charging support.

Apart from that, the overall look seems to be pretty much the same with a metal frame, a dual camera and Apple logo at the center. Reports also suggest that the iPhone 7s Plus will come with IP68 certification for water and dust resistance. ALSO READ: Refreshed Apple iPhone SE likely to launch in early 2018

The new phones are expected to arrive in September and should be available worldwide soon after. However, present manufacturing difficulties have resulted in analysts predicting that a delay might end up resulting in the late arrival of the iPhone or an on-time announcement followed by late availability.
