Following last week’s reports of Apple iPhone 8, we now hear that the new copper gold shade has a refreshing label. A leakster citing Foxconn executive claims that this new copper color will be launched as ‘Blush Gold’.
Tipster Venya Geskin has been making pretty serious claims about the iPhone from quite a while now. He even leaked a prototype design of the iPhone 8 earlier this year. He now claims that the Apple will only make the Blush Gold iPhone 8 available in the 64GB and 128GB storage models, while the Jet Black variant will come in 128GB and 256GB capacities. According to 9to5mac, Blush Gold variant is said to be a replacement of the Rose Gold color options available on present iPhones.

It is confusing to understand why Apple will not extend a fresh color option to the top model of the iPhone 8. Thus, we recommend readers to take this information with a pinch of salt. Gaskin’s claims are based on the Weibo post and thus nothing is verified yet. We are about a month away from the expected launch of the new Apple iPhones. Meanwhile, KGI Securities’ Ming Chi Kuo suggests that Apple iPhone is running a month ahead of the scheduled mass production, and so the company will be able to launch the OLED iPhone during the September event. However, Apple will only be able to release a limited number of units before the year ends, and will make up for it post the new year. The OLED iPhone 8 is expected to be accompanied by the launch of iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus in September as well.
