The rumors surrounding Apple iPhone 8, the 10th anniversary special iPhone, along with iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus are getting stronger and stronger day by day. While we have seen multiple image leaks surrounding the devices in the past, this time around, the front and back panels of the upcoming smartphones have leaked. The leaks pretty much confirm previous leaks and specifications expected in all the three smartphones. Apart from sharing the images, the leaks also give one big hint as to the capabilities of the smaller devices – the iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus. Both the phones will reportedly feature Wireless Charging too. The images shared by the Reddit user also mention that they come straight from Chinese factories with the manufacturers receiving the model panels a week back for production. The back panels of the three smartphones are completely different – each shows a unique camera placement and the rear panel structure. Also different are the markings on the phone as previous leaks did not show the CE ratings or some other markings. The one thing the panels confirm is that the phones will come with a glass back instead of the metal ones previous iPhone models sported. The front shows significantly slimmer bezels with the cutout for the earpiece and the camera on the top.
Shifting to the back of the device, the iPhone 8 will come with the dual rear camera setup as expected. The placement of the lenses and the flash will be vertical, as against the present horizontal placement in the iPhone 7 Plus. The rest of the back is bare suggesting no physical TouchID button but rather the biometric sensor embedded under the display. No other details regarding the iPhone 8 are visible or shared. Coming to the iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus models, both the phones when placed next to iPhone 8 panels give an idea of how different all three phones will be. The other two models retain the look of the present generation so there is not much change there. Of the three Apple phones expected to launch later this year, iPhone 7s Plus will clearly be the largest. There will be no dual camera on the iPhone 7s though the phone will support wireless charging with the glass back. Additionally, the panels are all in black confirming the Jet Black trends continues with the new generation iPhones.
The new phones are expected to arrive in September and should be available worldwide soon. However, present manufacturing difficulties have resulted in analysts predicting a delay in the arrival of the iPhone or an on-time announcement followed by a late availability. Many are also suspecting Apple to run into production difficulties or face a challenge in meeting the demand as the iPhone 8 is one of the most anticipated devices.
