The leaked image shows the home button on the rear of the device, just below the Apple logo. However, on the front of the device, the Home button is a part of the display instead of being on the lower bezel as other iPhones. The dual cameras are now placed one below the other with the flash right at the bottom, instead of being placed next to each other as was the case in the iPhone 7 Plus. Apart from the image leaks, the report shared by iDrop news also hints at the device specifications. Turning away from the standard naming convention, the next iPhone won’t be called the iPhone 7s or 8, but instead it’s named iPhone Edition. The vertical placement of the dual cameras suggests more depth of field and support for VR headsets. The rumoured glass back will not make an appearance. Instead, Apple fans will have to make do with a simple metal body.
