A fresh set of Apple iPhone 8 renders has surfaced yet again and brings up the most important question about the placement of fingerprint scanner on the upcoming smartphone. Renders of the alleged iPhone 8 prototype, leaked by iPhoneros.comshows a fully assembled device with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, placed right beneath the trademark Apple logo. From the renders, the iPhone 8 has an end-to-end stretched display with thin bezels on the sides, top, and bottom. It has been reported earlier as well, the Cupertino giant is adopting to bezel-less display in the upcoming iPhone, also alleged as the 10th anniversary iPhone. Other notable details include a vertically aligned dual rear camera setup with LED flash placed outside the camera ring. For the uninitiated, earlier reports tipped of the LED flash placed between the two cameras on the rear panel. Also, reports contradictory to the fresh leak suggest that Apple is working towards integrating the TouchID in the display itself. Other reports of Apple facing technical challenges in doing so gave a push to rumors of TouchID being moved to the back, which is very unlike Apple. Tipster Benjamin Geskin, who came across the renders of the iPhone 8 prototype rubbished of it as fake. He is of strong opinion on Apple to embed TouchID into the display. Also, Geskin in his latest tweets claims that Apple would launch three new iPhones this year and that mass production of the smartphones have already kicked off. While he also tipped that iPhone 8 could feature rear panel built from special and unique alloy of glass and metal.

We recommend readers to take aforementioned information with a pinch of salt. From what we know so far, Apple’s upcoming iPhone iteration could feature OLED display, wireless charging feature, improved certification against waterproofing and dust proofing.
