From what it looks like, the iPhone SE 2 will bring minor upgrades compared to the iPhone SE, and will serve as an entry-level iPhone. Previous reports indicated that the iPhone SE 2 will be manufactured in India, and it will be targeted for emerging markets such as India and Asia Pacific.
Now, while reports indicate that the iPhone SE 2 will be launched sometime in May, Apple hasn t revealed any such plans. If indeed there is any truth in the reports, it may just be a matter of weeks before Apple starts sending out media invites. Alternatively, it could also be a scenario where Apple may hold on till June for the announcement. The annual developer conference WWDC 2018, starts on June 4, and it may be the perfect time for Apple to announce the iPhone SE 2.
