After a ton of leaks and rumors, Apple has finally launched the iPhone SE 2020 with a Touch ID fingerprint sensor. The device comes with a design language similar to the iPhone 8. You get a very compact 4.7-inch display as well as latest Apple chip at a lower price. It is powered by an A13 Bionic chip, which is powering the iPhone 11 series as well. The iPhone SE 2020 price in India starts from Rs 42,500, which is for the 64GB storage variant. The 128GB variant will cost Rs 47,800 for 128GB storage variant. The 256GB storage model is priced at Rs 58,300. Apple is yet to reveal the availability details of the new iPhone SE. The iPhone 8 listed on Flipkart with a price label of Rs 38,999 (64GB), whereas the Pixel 3a is currently available for Rs 30,999 (64GB). The iPhone SE 2020 sports a 4.7-inch Retina HD IPS LCD display. It even supports True Tone tech, which adjusts white balance. It offers a peak brightness of 625 nits, and supports Dolby Vision and HDR10. The display panel comes with Haptic Touch support as well, which is seen in the latest iPhones. The iPhone 8 also comes with a 4.7-inch Retina HD display. The Pixel 3a comes with a 5.6-inch FHD+ display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio. It is covered by Dragon Trail protection to keep scratches at bay. The Pixel 3a features an OLED panel. It comes with a dual-tone finish and has a polycarbonate back instead of a glass back.

The iPhone SE 2020 is powered by the company’s A13 Bionic chip, which is also powering the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and the iPhone 11 Pro Max. It ships with iOS 13 out-of-the-box. The iPhone 8 is powered by the A11 Bionic chip. The Pixel 3a uses Qualcomm’s mid-range Snapdragon 670 SoC. The device comes with a 4GB RAM + 64GB storage option and there is no 128GB storage variant. It also lacks storage expansion option. The smartphone ships with Android 10 out of the box.

The iPhone SE 2020 ships with a single 12-megapixel camera sensor (f/1.8 aperture + OIS) at the back. It also offers a LED True Tone flash with Slow Sync, 4K video recording at up to 60fps, and Smart HDR for photos. Apple has even added a sapphire crystal lens cover, which protects the rear camera of the phone. The camera app supports a Portrait mode as well, which uses computational photography enabled by the Neural Engine on the A13 Bionic chip. On the front is a 7-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture.
The iPhone 8 packs a single 12-megapixel (f/1.8) sensor with OIS, quad-LED ‘True Tone’ flash and 5x digital zoom. It can shoot 4K video at up to 60fps and Full-HD slo-mo video at 120/240fps. There is also time-lapse video feature with stabilization included in the mix. It offers a 7-megapixel f/2.2 sensor for selfies and video calls. It can only shoot Full-HD videos with their front camera.
The Pixel 3a features a 12.2-megapixel rear camera with f/1.8 aperture. Google is using the same Sony IMX363 sensor as on the Pixel 3 series. The smartphone’s main camera sensor also supports dual-pixel autofocus for fast autofocus. It lacks a dedicated image processing engine – Pixel Visual Core, which is found on the Pixel 3 series. On the front, there is a single 8-megapixel sensor (f/2.0 aperture). Camera features like Playground, Night Sight, Portrait Mode and HDR+ are available on the smartphone.

Apple hasn’t yet revealed the size of the battery on the iPhone SE (2020). It features an IP67 rating, meaning the device is dust and water resistance. It does offers support for 18W fast charging, which the company claims can charge up to 50 percent in 30 minutes. Do note that Apple doesn’t ship an 18W charger with the device. The handset also supports Wireless charging.
The iPhone 8 is armed with a 1,821mAh battery, and it even supports wireless charging feature. The iPhone 8 comes with a Touch ID fingerprint scanner on the front for biometric authentication. It also has IP68 certification for water and dust resistance.
You get a 3,000mAh battery on the Pixel 3a. There is also support for 18W fast wired charging. Other features include Pixel Active Edge where you can squeeze the sides to summon Google Assistant, a 3.5mm audio jack, stereo speakers and more. t lacks wireless charging and also does not offer any form of water or dust resistance.
