A number of reports have emerged on the internet detailing that Apple has been working on three models for its upcoming iPhone lineup. Two of the three devices are expected to sport an OLED panel similar to how things were with the iPhone X while the third model is expected to come with LCD screen panel. According to a recent report by MacRumors, Katy Huberty, a Morgan Stanley analyst revealed that the upcoming iPhone model with LCD panel may be delayed by a month. Huberty pointed out that the reason for this possible delay might be because of LED backlight leakage issue. According to the report, the delay would mean that Apple may have to delay the launch date of the LCD iPhone to October instead of September. It goes on to clarify that there will be no delay when it comes to the OLED versions of the upcoming iPhone. The report pointed out that the delay was worse in the original production forecast and the delay was rumored to be six weeks long. This would have meant that Apple would have to delay the launch of the model to November of this year. Also Read - Apple Beats Studio Buds launched: AirPods for Android devices

This new estimate of the delay was initially reported by Barron.com. To recap things, the LCD model of the upcoming iPhone lineup is expected to be the cheaper variant aimed at people who want to buy the iPhone but not pay more than $800 for the OLED versions of the device. The successor for the iPhone X with 5.8-inch display is likely to be the upgraded version of the flagship smartphone that Apple launched last year.
Last but not the least, the 6.5-inch OLED screen model, the iPhone X Plus is aimed at users who want more screen estate on the iPhone while wanting the best of the iPhone hardware. As previously reported, the LCD version is likely to be priced between $600 and $700, the second generation iPhone X is likely to be between $800 and $900 and the iPhone X Plus is likely to be between $900 and $1,000.
