Ahead of the sale of Apple‘s anniversary edition iPhone X in India, Airtel has announced a new offer for its postpaid customers, under which they can avail up to Rs 10,000 in cashback through the operator’s online store. The Apple iPhone X will be up for sale on the newly launched Airtel‘s Online Store starting 6:00PM on November 3. The phone will be available exclusively to Airtel postpaid customers as an unlocked device on a first-come-first-serve, and full payment basis. So basically, if you are an Airtel postpaid subscriber, you are eligible to purchase the device through the online store if you make full payment for the order.
Airtel will also be delivering the iPhone X free of charge at your doorstep. It is to be noted that Airtel s Online Store services are currently available only in 21 cities across India. You can follow this link to see if your city falls under the service region.
Talking about the offer, Airtel is offering Rs 10,000 cashback if you use Citibank Credit Card while making the purchase. The cashback will be available between 6:00PM on November 3, and 7:00 AM on November 4. iPhone X, which is the tenth-anniversary special smartphone, brings a blend of both new and old. There’s a familiar glass sandwich design, along with a dual-camera setup at the back. One of the talking points of the phone is that it features a bezel-less display with an unusual notch-design at the top. The second important feature of the phone is that it does not come with the standard fingerprint sensor, but includes what is called as Face ID, which authenticates by using facial mapping with machine learning. In terms of other specifications, it packs a 5.8-inch Super Retina display. It is powered by Apple’s in-house A11 Bionic chip. For optics, there’s a pair of 12-megapixel wide angle and telephoto rear cameras with dual optical image stabilization. Up front, there’s a 7-megapixel camera. The phone is available in two storage models, the 64GB version is priced at 89,000, while the 256GB model is available at Rs 102,000.
