Apple introduced a radical design on the iPhone X with an OLED edge-to-edge display and no home button. The large display takes up the entire front panel except for the notch on top, which houses the TruDepth camera. Without the home button, the gestures on the iPhone X are a little modified. You need to swipe up from the bottom to go to the home screen from any app. On top you need to swipe down from the left side for notifications, and right for the control center. For recent apps, you need to swipe up from the bottom, and hold it for the app cards to appear.

Animoji was also demonstrated by YouTubers, and looks pretty fun and interesting. The TruDepth camera scans your face for expressions, which are produced on an emoji you pick. One of the most talked about and anticipated feature is Face ID on the iPhone X. Replacing Touch ID for biometric authentication on the iPhone X, Face ID is demonstrated in a very detailed manner in these videos. Firstly, setting up Face ID requires one to move around so that the TruDepth camera can map every detail of your face. Unlocking the iPhone is also pretty fast but you do need to swipe up the screen to use it. One of the YouTuber even says that the notifications aren’t displayed if someone else uses your iPhone X. Face ID can also be not fooled using a photo, or even when you’re sleeping. This feature appears to have impressed the YouTubers quite a lot.
