According to a report on GSMArena, the upcoming device may be more compact than the current iPhone 8 Plus. It also points out at the fact that Apple may opt for a steel chassis, similar to what they did with the iPhone X, increasing the weight of the iPhone. The design goes on to show that the device will come with a lightning port and speaker grills on the bottom of the device along with a vertically aligned dual camera setup at the top left corner of the device. One interesting thing to note here is that the report went on to add that Apple may be bringing the triple cameras to its iPhone series. However, Apple won t hold the bragging rights about being the first to bring this technology in a smartphone as companies such as Huawei with its P20 Pro has already achieved it. There is no other information present about how the three camera sensors would work together. The schematics also show a comparatively smaller notch with rumors about Face ID 2.0 hardware.

The schematics also include the renders for the cheaper 6.1-inch iPhone also. The report indicates that it will come with Face ID 1.0 hardware, and single camera setup and in the dimensions sector, the 6.1-inch iPhone will have a bigger screen and taller body in comparison to the iPhone X. The third iPhone model is likely to be similar to the iPhone X in terms of the design while packing faster internal components such as the ones that Apple will decide to put in its Apple iPhone X Plus.
Previous reports have pointed out that Apple is looking at reducing the prices of the smartphones that it will launch this year to further attract users to the iOS ecosystem.
