Apple‘s most expensive iPhone X is finally up for pre-order on Amazon India and Flipkart. The smartphone will, however, go on sale on November 3. For the first time ever, India is among the first wave of countries to get a new iPhone. On November 3, the iPhone X will be going on sale in 55 countries, including India. Starting today, however, you can pre-order the iPhone X via e-commerce sites as well as authorized Apple resellers. Apple iPhone X will be available in two variants 64GB and 256GB storage variants. In India, the 64GB storage version of iPhone X is priced at Rs 89,000, while the higher-end 256GB model comes at Rs 102,000. Reliance Jio and CitiBank have also partnered to offer the iPhone X (64GB) for just Rs 26,288 via Amazon India. Under the offer, if you buy the smartphone using your Citibank credit card or World debit card, you are entitled to a cashback of Rs 10,000, which will be credited to your account in 90 days. The cashback will bring down the price of the iPhone X model to Rs 79,000. Further, if you own a Reliance Jio SIM card, the company guarantees a buyback of 70 percent on the latest iPhone. The buyback can be availed after a period of 12 months. This will further bring down the price of iPhone X to Rs 62,300. Reliance Jio will also offer its Jio Annual Plan along with the buyback. Customer will have to recharge with Rs 799 or above for a period of 12 months or perform one-time yearly recharge of Rs 9,588 or above on Jio. Effectively after all these offers and cashback, the price of the iPhone X comes down to as low as Rs 26,288.
Flipkart is offering no-cost EMIs starting from Rs 9,889 per month, while standard EMIs start from Rs 3,042 per month. Additionally, if the purchase is made using an Axis Bank Buzz Credit Card, then you can further avail five percent discount. Flipkart is also offering Rs 22,000 cashback on iPhone X if you buy the smartphone via Citi credit and Citi World debit card. However, the cashback can only be availed if you buy the iPhone X with Apple Watch. Also, if you buy an iPhone X along with Apple AirPods, you can get Rs 15,000 cashback. There is also offering a buyback value of Rs 52,000. If exchanged with old phones, you can avail upto Rs 20,000 off. If you exchange iPhone 7 Plus to buy the iPhone X then you can get the smartphone for as low as Rs 13,500. Flipkart is also offering an extended warranty with door pick and drop in case of any damage.
The iPhone X comes with a front and back glass design. Buyers can choose from two color options, including silver and space grey. The smartphone flaunts a 5.8-inch super Retina display and offers 458ppi of pixel density. The display used in the iPhone X uses OLED technology. With Apple skipping the home button, the phone now has a new biometric authentication feature Face ID. This feature scans your face to unlock the iPhone.
The iPhone X s camera has a dual-lens 12-megapixel rear camera with dual optical image stabilization, consisting of a wide-angle lens with f/1.8 aperture lens, and a telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture. The 7-megapixel front camera supports Portrait mode, and has auto image stabilization and exposure control. The phone runs on iOS 11 out-of-the-box.

Days before the sale though, Apple has tweaked its warranty policy related to iPhones bought abroad. In other words, if you buy an iPhone from any other country, its warranty will be honored at service centers in India. To put this scenario into context, prices for the iPhone X start from Rs 89,000 in India. But in the US, the base iPhone X model costs $999 or Rs 65,000 approximately.
