Bharti Airtel has just announced that upcoming Apple iPhone XR will be available on its online device store, Airtel Online Store. The company also added that interested buyers can head to the store and pre-book the device with a down payment of just Rs 14,999. Airtel is also offering a number of EMI (Easy Monthly Installments) for buyers who may not be able to pay the entire amount in one go. Similar to other affordable options, the company added that iPhone XR will also come with a built-in postpaid plan that will come with unlimited calling, premium bundled content, and 4G data. The telecom giant added that the devices will start reaching customers from October 26. To recap, Apple announced the iPhone XR, the cheapest of its 2018 iPhone lineup along with the more premium iPhone XS and XS Max at the iPhone launch event last month. The company has already launched the iPhone XS and XS Max in the Indian market. XS and XS Max are more expensive devices while the XR is supposed to be the comparatively cheaper device. Talking about the specifications of the device, the XR comes with a 6.1-inch Liquid Retina LCD display with aluminum design on the back. The device is powered by Apple s latest and most powerful SoC for smartphones, the A12 Bionic with dedicated NPU. There is no dual camera setup on the back of the device and instead, XR will only come with a single camera set up along with the ability to capture dynamic portraits.
Apple is offering the device in six colors that include white, black, blue, yellow, coral, and (PRODUCT)RED. The device comes with the IP67 rating and it will support Dual SIM in the device with the help of eSIM technology. eSIM technology will be enabled in an update in the coming weeks.
