Apple iPhone XS, XS Max and XR price in India

Soon after Phil Schiller revealed the global price of new iPhones on the stage of Steve Jobs Theater, the looming question was how much do they cost in India? Apple answered that question few minutes later by revealing the official price tag for the new models.

Apple iPhone XS will start at Rs 99,900 in India while the iPhone XS Max will start at a whopping Rs 1,09,900. The iPhone XR, which is dubbed as cheaper iPhone, will start at Rs 76,900 in the country. Yes, the iPhones were always expensive and this year, they go a whole lot expensive for the Indian consumers.

Samsung Galaxy S10 to come in three models

Now that Apple has launched its flagship smartphones, the attention shifts to its Korean rival. A new leaked report claims that Samsung will launch three new Galaxy S10 models next year. Interestingly, one of the model is said to pack triple camera setup similar to Huawei P20 Pro.

Oppo F9 launched in India

Oppo has launched the F9 at Rs 19,990 as a Flipkart exclusive in India. The smartphone is basically the 4GB RAM variant of Oppo F9 Pro, which was launched in India last month. One of the unique features of the Oppo F9 is its waterdrop-style notch, which is rumored to make its way to OnePlus 6T as well. The smartphone will go on sale starting September 15.

Reliance JioPhone at effective price of Rs 95

Yes, you heard that right. Reliance JioPhone is available at an effective price of Rs 95 but only in Rajasthan. In Rajasthan, the best-selling feature phone is available with a one-time upfront fee of Rs 1,095 from Jio retailers. Customers need to purchase the feature phone using their Bhimashah number in order to receive Rs 1,000 back. The best part is that this offer gives unlimited calls and data for first six months for free.

Google is shutting down Inbox app

In 2014, Google launched a revolutionary email application called Inbox. The app came with a number of industry first features like ability to snooze emails and set reminders. Now, Google says it will shut down the application in March of 2019 to focus on Gmail instead. A classic example of how Google makes and kills its own applications.

BSNL has two new broadband plans

We all saw a strong battle in the mobile telecom sector and now that competition is shifting to broadband segment. With Reliance JioGigaFiber commercial roll out set to begin sometime this year, existing players are constantly updating their plans and services to brace for the tariff war.

BSNL has been the most fiercest of these players and the state-owned player has now introduced two new plans priced at Rs 777 and Rs 1,277 for both existing and new subscribers. These plans will not be available in Andaman and Nicobar Islands and will join the recently revised tariff plans.
