The Apple iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max and iPhone XR were launched earlier this month, and naturally have a lot of people already vying for them. The high-end smartphones are considered the peak smartphone experience by many users around the world, and come with the price tag to match. And while the iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max go on sale in India on September 28, pre-orders for the phones have opened up today.
If you’re looking to be one of the first people to own the new Apple iPhone XS or XS Max, pre-orders start today on certain platforms, including Airtel, Reliance Jio, and Flipkart. Apart from that, certain Apple Premium resellers and official stores will also be accepting pre-orders for the phone.

You can now place your pre-orders for the Apple iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max (all variants) on the online stores of Reliance Jio and Airtel, and Flipkart is also offering the new phones on pre-order. Buyers will have to pay for the phone up-front, or take an EMI plan on payment. They will then have the option to take in-store pick-up or home delivery, which will begin on September 28 after 6:00PM. Similarly, buyers on Flipkart are being assured delivery by September 29 (in limited areas).
In order to book with Jio or Airtel, visit Jio.com or Airtel.in, where you’ll see a banner to take you to the pre-order page for the new Apple iPhones. On Flipkart, the phones are similarly listed on the site, and you can choose to pre-order just as you would complete a regular purchase. Once you’ve chosen your delivery address and completed payment, your order is set and you will receive the device when it officially becomes available.
The new Apple iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max are expectedly the company’s most expensive devices yet, starting at Rs 99,900 for the iPhone XS (64GB), and going up to Rs 144,900 for the iPhone XS Max (512GB). The two phones are essentially the same in terms of hardware, camera and features, with the only notable difference being the screen size and battery. The iPhone XS has a 5.8-inch AMOLED screen, while the iPhone XS Max sports a 6.5-inch AMOLED screen.
