Apple is apparently planning a big media event in New York City post CES, according to an AllThingsD report. The report also mentions that this event will most probably have nothing to do with the rumored Apple Television or even the iPad 3. The event will focus more on interactive publishing and advertising and Apple’s VP for services Eddy Cue will be involved. Previously Eddy Cue took the stage when the iPad exclusive ‘The Daily’ Newspaper/ Magazine was launched by Rupert Murdoch’s NewsCorp. It has also been indicated that this might be an initiative to revamp iAds, which has seen a lukewarm response from the market.
