Apple today finally released the much-awaited iOS 6.1 update for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad users. The update brings LTE connectivity to 36 additional LTE carriers around the world (no, India is not supported). Other updates include buying movie tickets from Siri via Fandango (US-only) and the ability for iTunes Match users to download individual songs from iCloud. This update is also expected to bring improved battery performance after many users complained of faster battery drain after updating their devices to iOS 6.1.
