After launching the iPhone 6 devices on September 9, Apple is all set for its next event. According to Re/Code, the company will unveil its next generation iPads on October 16 at the company’s Town Hall Auditorium in Cupertino.
Apple was previously rumored to hold the event on October 21, but the report, citing anonymous sources, states that the company will hold a special event on October 16. Along with the iPads, the company will unveil the new iMacs and OS X Yosemite.
The report also claims that the event won’t be a grand spectacle like September 9 event, but a rather laid back affair at Apple’s Town Hall Auditiorium in Cupertino.
Meanwhile, Apple is expected to release iOS 8.1 on October 20. This update is said to bring support for Apple Pay, the toggle switch for 2G, 3G and 4G and also see the return of camera roll. The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus is said to launch in India on October 17.
