The publication further mentions that the suppliers are expected to deliver a first batch of around 30 million to 40 million Apple Watches. This is however in contrast to the recent report claiming that Apple was facing production issues, and hence the Apple Watch would be initially available in limited quantities. As for availability, there is quite a bit of contrasting rumors floating around on the Internet. While earlier rumors had claimed that the Apple Watch would launch on February 14 (Valentine s Day), Apple Retail SVP Angela Ahrendts recently told retail employees in a video message that the Apple Watch will be coming in spring.
The Apple Watch will be available in three variants Apple Watch, Apple Watch Sport and Apple Watch Edition. Each variant is available in two screen sizes 1.5-inch and 1.65-inch and also comes with a myriad of customization options. It has a square design, with rounded corners and with a crown on the right size, which is used for navigation. The smartwatch not only gives you notifications from your smartphone, but also boasts sensors to keep track of your fitness tracking activities. The Apple Watch is compatible with iPhone 5 and above.
