The Apple Watch Nike+ is a variant of the newly launched Apple Watch Series 2, which is focused at fitness and training. The Apple Watch Nike+ features exclusive Nike Sport Bands and watch faces that can be easily personalized with useful apps like Activity Rings, Heart Rate, Stopwatch and Weather, aimed at helping runners stay informed at a glance. The price of the Apple Watch Nike+ edition starts at Rs 32,900, and will be available on Nike s official website, select Nike retail stores, select Apple Authorized Resellers and some specialty stores. The Apple Watch Nike+ comes in two models, one is the 38mm and other is the 42mm variant, which are priced at Rs 32,900 and Rs 34,900 respectively. Also, Nike Sport Bands are available exclusively with Apple Watch Nike+ models and cannot be bought separately. However, at the time of purchase, customers will get to select from variety of multiple strap options, which include different color options that mix together black, grey, silver, or yellow. As far as the features of the Apple Watch Nike+ is concerned, it comes with built-in GPS to track a user s pace, distance, and route just like all Apple Watch Series 2 models. Apple also claims that the Nike+ model has the brightest display Apple has ever made making it easy to read display and metrics. The smartwatch is swim proof and can resist water up to 50 meters. Other than that, the Nike+ edition supports third-party apps, along with Apple s native Activity app to keep a track of workouts. The Nike+ also supports Apple Pay. You can also buy additional watch bands and use them with the Nike+ model. Just like the Apple Watch Series 2, the Nike+ comes with second generation S2 dual-core processor, which according to Apple is up to 50 percent faster.
The smartwatch runs on the new watchOS 3 operating system. The watchOS 3 comes with its own control center, allowing users to access key information such as battery levels, and features like do not disturb and airplane mode. In India, the Apple Watch Series 2 is already available in gold, rose gold, silver or space grey aluminum, or silver or space black stainless steel cases paired with a wide variety of bands for price starting at Rs 32,900. The new ceramic Apple Watch Edition starts at Rs 110,900 while the Apple Watch Nike+ starts at Rs 32,900.
The Apple Watch was launched alongside the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in India. Both the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are available in three storage variants each 32GB, 128GB and 256GB. Prices for the iPhone 7 start from Rs 60,000 for the 32GB variant, and go up to Rs 70,000 and Rs 80,000 for the 128GB and 256GB variants respectively. The iPhone 7 Plus, on the other hand, is available for Rs 72,000 (32GB), Rs 82,000 (128GB), and Rs 92,000 (256GB). Apple will also be launching a bunch of accessories, with prices starting from Rs 900 and going up to Rs 15,400 for a pair of AirPods.
