Apple Watch Series 3 LTE, the third-generation smartwatch from Apple, is now available for pre-order from Airtel and Reliance Jio. The smartwatch was launched in cellular and non-cellular models but the Cupertino-based tech giant brought only the non-cellular variant to India immediately. Now, the Apple Watch Series 3 with GPS + Cellular is available for registration via Airtel and Reliance Jio and customers can purchase them from May 11.
The Apple Watch Series 3 comes in 38mm and 42mm casing and can be configured with a wide range of cases and straps. Airtel seems to be offering the Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular) with pink sand sport band while Reliance Jio seems to be offering a wider range including option to choose from sport band to sport loop.
In a release note, Airtel confirmed that it will offer a special introductory cellular trial with the Apple Watch Series 3 Cellular model. To activate cellular service with Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS + Cellular). customers first need to update their iPhone to iOS 11.3 and watchOS 4.3 and then tap Settings on iPhone > General > About and follow the prompt to update to the latest carrier settings.
To recall, the Apple Watch Series 3 was launched alongside iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X in September last year. The Apple Watch Series 3 GPS+ Cellular features a red colored digital crown which helps to differentiate it from standard model. With cellular support, the Apple Watch Series 3 can now stream music directly from your wrist and uses a faster dual-core processor to enable voice calling. With Watch Series 3, Apple users can leave their iPhone behind and get work done right from their wrist.

Apple Watch Series 3 is not only faster and powerful with cellular support, it also enables tracking new fitness activities like skiing and snowboarding. The Apple Watch Series 3 Cellular model is priced at Rs 41,120 for the model with sport band and Rs 41,160 for the variant with sport loop.
