Apple’s Gather Round event is only a day away and we’re excited about what the company will be announcing tomorrow. While the key highlight of the event is said to be the launch of three new iPhones, Apple is also expected to take the wraps of its Apple Watch Series 4 smartwatch. Now, as we get into the final stages of anticipation, rumors have been rounding up on all the features we can expect from the new wearable. The latest one suggests that the new Apple Watches will be coming with ceramic backs and an electrocardiogram.

The news comes from MacRumors, who claims to have obtained a report by Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo stating, “The new Apple Watch models will have narrower bezels, support electrocardiography (ECG), and all be equipped with ceramic backs (currently, some models are equipped with composite backs). We believe the new Apple Watch models will attract more users on supporting ECG.”

Last year, only the cellular variant of the Apple Watch Series 3 boasted a ceramic back, but according to the report all the upcoming variants are likely to feature a ceramic build, which should make them tougher. The new electrocardiogram should also bring in a massive appeal for the Apple Watch. It will enable the Watch to better track heart conditions and help improve on its overall health monitoring functions.

Another upgrade on the new Apple Watch that has been touted for a while now is a 15 percent bigger screen. That said, the device is still said to be the same in terms of size, thanks to slimmer bezels. It’s also said to boast Apple’s new S4 and W3 chipset running alongside 16GB of onboard storage. All models this time around are also expected to support cellular functions.
