Apple is soon expected to launch the successor to the iPhone SE. A fresh report claims that Apple’s 2020 entry-level iPhone will be called 2020 iPhone SE, and not iPhone 9. The Cupertino giant is also set to start accepting orders for the new iPhone very soon. While the report hasn’t mentioned any launch date, tipster Jon Prosser recently suggested that the iPhone 9 could launch on April 15.
The new report says Apple might be planning to open orders for the 2020 iPhone SE by tomorrow. 9to5Mac also reported that the company will offer the device in three color options, including White, Black, and PRODUCT (Red). Apple might also sell five iPhone SE cases. These could be Black silicone, White silicone, Red leather, Black leather, and Midnight blue leather.

The cited source also claims that the 2020 iPhone SE will be available in three storage options – 64GB, 128GB and
256GB. As for the pricing, Ming-Chi Kuo previously reported that the price of the new iPhone will start from $399, which is around Rs 30,290 in India. As for the features and design, the sequel to the iPhone SE is expected to pack Apple’s A13 processor.
The same chipset is also powering the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Plus. The 2020 iPhone SE could feature the same design as the iPhone 8, which is currently available for Rs 38,999 via Flipkart. Just yesterday, a Belkin screen protector was spotted live on the Apple Store, which was for the iPhone SE, iPhone 8 and iPhone 7. This also suggests that the new budget iPhone would have a similar design to those models.
