Asus has come out with two new tablets for the Indian market — the Fonepad 7 and MeMOPad 8. The tablets are priced at Rs 10,999 and Rs 19,999 respectively and are on sale via Flipkart.The Asus Fonepad 7 draws its power from a dual-core Intel Clover Trail Plus processor clocked at 1.2GHz. Fonepad 7 features a 7-inch display set at a resolution of 1024×600. Camera shapes up in the form of an 8-megapixel snapper in the front accompanied by a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. As it goes with the nomenclature the MeMOPad 8 hosts an 8-inch display with a resolution of 1920×1200 along with Gorilla Glass protection. Under the hood MeMOPad comes with a quad-core 1.83GHz Intel Atom processor mated to a 2GB RAM. Internal storage stands at 16GB and the tablet also comes with a 5GB Asus Webstorage space. The MeMOPad 8 also features a 5-megapixel primary camera and a 1.2-megapixel secondary camera. MeMoPad 8 will be bundled with a tipped stylus pen. Connectivity options include LTE support, Wi-Fi, NFC, and Bluetooth.
