The dual-SIM FonePad 7 is essentially the same tablet which was launched at IFA in Berlin last year, with the only difference being the processor. The dual-SIM variant is powered by a 1.2GHz Intel Atom Z2520 dual-core SoC, instead of the 1.6GHz Clover Trail Plus Z2560 dual-core processor on the single-SIM variant. Other specifications remain the same 7-inch IPS (1280×800 pixels), 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card. Also included are a 5-megapixel rear camera, 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 3,950mAh battery, which the company claims is good enough for 28 hours of talk time or 10 hours of tablet usage. On the software front, it runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean wrapped under Asus s own UI.
