The tablet supports voice calling and 3G via a SIM card. As far as specifications are concerned, the Fonepad 8 flaunts an 8-inch HD (1280×800 pixels) IPS display with anti-fingerprint coating and is powered by an Intel Atom Z3530 quad-core processor clocked at 1.33GHz and paired with PowerVR G6430 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The tablet also features 16GB internal storage that can be further expanded up to 64GB using a microSD card, 5-megapixel rear camera with 1080p video recording, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 4,000mAh battery.
As mentioned above, the tablet features dual-SIM card slots, 3G support, voice calling, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and on the software front, it runs on Android 4.4 KitKat wrapped under Zen UI.
At this price point, the Fonepad 8 will be up against the likes of the Lenovo A8 tablet, and the Micromax Canvas P666 tablet among others.
