Asus has earlier been rumored to be working on the next generation version of the Nexus 7 which is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. The certificate mentions an Asus tablet with a Qualcomm APQ-8064 S4 Pro quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz, which adds fuel to successor of the Nexus 7 in making. Moreover, the report also reveals that the device will house a 4000mAh battery which hints that the device might come with a 7-inch display. Other suggested specifications include an Adreno graphics and LTE-network connectivity support. The certificate also lists a 5-megapixel camera at the rear, which is better than the 3-megapixel camera in the Nexus 7.
To top all this, the company has mentioned the model as a Nexus device which is for marketing purpose, which further suggests that the successor for the Nexus 7 is indeed in the works.
