Asus is reportedly planning to launch the Nexus 7 tablet in India in the month of November. The Next Web which reported the story quotes blogger RajuPP who was attending an event in Bangalore for the launch of the Asus PadFone, tweeted the announcement. The 7-inch tablet boasts a formidable feature set which includes a 7-inch IPS display with a resolution 1280×800 pixels, 1GB of RAM, and a 1.3GHz quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor.
Previously a Times of India report had stated that the Nexus 7 will launch in October, but now this seems to have changed. Perhaps, Asus is gunning for Diwali festival season in November.
